The initial concept for The Sisterhood Boutique came about when Soror Rochelle McAllister, was preparing to apply to business school. Soror Rochelle sought to build a company that combined her personal affections with her eclectic and entrepreneurial spirit. The result is The Sisterhood Boutique.

Rochelle McAllister received her MBA from the Goizueta School of Business at Emory University in 2006 and her Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Oakwood College in 1998. Ms. McAllister was initiated into Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. on January 26, 1997. She resides in Atlanta, GA where she is an active member of the Kappa Omega Chapter of the Sorority and serves on the Board for the East Atlanta Kid's Club.
